I have only been playing with Harp for a few minutes, but I like it already. The chord layout is very intuitive and the sound is lovely.

As I have rather large hands, it would be nicer if the "keyboard" got larger in portrait mode on the iPad. It would greatly facilitate being able to play individual notes or bass/chord patterns.

I also noticed that the links on your home pages that link to 3 chord songs is broken. Do you have a new link?

Thank you very much for Harp!

Sincerely,
Matthew

I too think a record feature would be nice. It would be REALLY nice to capture both midi and aiff recordings for moving into other music software to create full arrangements. Keep up the good work.

Harp was muted when other apps on the iPad were not. I didn't know that the lock rotate had been changed to mute as it was only harp that was affected. Thanks to your tip, I discovered the problem and harp now works alright. The side switch must have been moved when I slid iPad into it's case.
Harp is a lovely app.

I just put Harp on both my Touch and my iPad. It worked fine on the Touch. On the iPad there was no sound, except through the earphones. (Other music programs were working properly.) I read this tip, but with the new operating system I have my side switch set to "lock screen" position rather than to "mute". I flipped the switch several times but still no sound. I went back to system preferences, changed the switch to control mute, unmuted it and the sound worked. Then I went back to preferences, set the switch back to lock screen, and harp still plays, whatever the position of the switch. I assume this is a glitch caused by the system upgrade, but other new users may have the same problem.

I am loving your instrument on the iPad. I have one niggle though, make the strumming area a bit wider. It's easy to not be in the right position when doing complicated chord changes, because your attention os focused on the circle. Especially when you are using more than one finger strumming. Cheers.

What exactly was the problem, as I find a few different Apps having the popping noise (especially with OpenAL). Anything in particular?

it's an interesting note you have there. for those who are novices when it comes to playing an actual harp, this might actually help them recognize what the notes are and what certain music they're phusing through. im planning to look at this application tonight (oh well, there it is, confession made) and try to run it with my ipod. Oh just a note, are there any way i can compose tunes with this application? Hope there is, coz it'll be a great jumpstart!

I purchased this from iTunes. When I use it on my iPod Touch (2nd gen), the sound crackles like it's coming out of a blown speaker. It's only this app. Does antone else have this issue?
